Consider/Approve Central Cafeteria Equipment Bid |

Background Information : In addition to advertising, we solicited bids from Federal Equipment Dealers, Hotel & Restaurant Supply, Jackson Restaurant Supply, and Chef’s Supply & Design for the purchase of a combination oven/steamer for South Fulton Middle/High School (specifications attached). Funds are available for this purchase within the Central Cafeteria Fund budget for the current fiscal year as previously approved by the Board. We received bids from two (2) companies, which are summarized on the bid request tally sheet. The individual bids were as follows: The low bid was submitted by Hotel & Restaurant Supply in the amount of $36,298.00. This company is located in Memphis, TN.
Staff Recommendation: I recommend approval of the low bid as submitted by Hotel & Restaurant Supply in the amount of $36,298.00. |
